Al afectar los nervios, puede provocar debilidad muscular, dificultad para tragar, visi\u00f3n borrosa y, en casos graves, par\u00e1lisis respiratoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%91%B6_%C2%BFComo_puede_contraerlo_un_bebe\"><\/span>\ud83d\udc76 \u00bfC\u00f3mo puede contraerlo un beb\u00e9?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los beb\u00e9s son especialmente vulnerables al botulismo infantil por su sistema digestivo inmaduro. Algunas v\u00edas comunes de contagio son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Miel y jarabes con miel<\/strong>: dar miel antes de 1 a\u00f1o est\u00e1 asociado con casos de botulismo infantil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alimentos envasados o caseros mal conservados<\/strong>: pur\u00e9s, conservas, cremas untables mal procesadas o almacenadas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polvo en el ambiente o papillas contaminadas<\/strong>: aunque es menos frecuente.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%9A%A0%EF%B8%8F_Sintomas_a_vigilar\"><\/span>\u26a0\ufe0f S\u00edntomas a vigilar<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si tu beb\u00e9 presenta algunos de estos signos, es esencial buscar atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica inmediata:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Debilidad o flacidez (tono muscular reducido)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Llanto d\u00e9bil o dificultad para succionar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estre\u00f1imiento<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pupilas dilatadas o dificultad para enfocar la vista<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dificultad para tragar o babeo excesivo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problemas respiratorios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%9C%85_Prevencion_las_mejores_practicas\"><\/span>\u2705 Prevenci\u00f3n: las mejores pr\u00e1cticas<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para proteger al beb\u00e9 y reducir el riesgo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No ofrecer miel<\/strong> antes del primer a\u00f1o de vida.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparar alimentos caseros con higiene extrema.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evitar productos envasados que no est\u00e9n bien pasteurizados o tengan conservaci\u00f3n dudosa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hervir pur\u00e9s o cremas cuando haya sospecha de mala conservaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consultar con el pediatra antes de introducir alimentos nuevos.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%A9%BA_%C2%BFQue_hacer_en_caso_de_sospecha\"><\/span>\ud83e\ude7a \u00bfQu\u00e9 hacer en caso de sospecha?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si crees que tu beb\u00e9 puede estar mostrando s\u00edntomas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Llevarlo de inmediato a urgencias o con el pediatra.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No esperar a que los s\u00edntomas empeoren.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Informar al m\u00e9dico sobre lo que ha comido, cu\u00e1ndo y c\u00f3mo fue preparado.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En centros especializados pueden administrar antitoxinas y cuidados intensivos si es necesario.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proteger a tu beb\u00e9 del botulismo es clave en los primeros meses de vida.
